T & Mai Homes began with an unexpected friendship and a shared vision.

We met in 2022, when Tanisha relocated from California to Arizona and Maisha became her real estate agent. What started as a professional relationship grew into a genuine friendship built on trust, complementary strengths, and a mutual passion for transforming homes.

After several years of completing renovation projects independently, we realized we could accomplish far more together. Maisha brings her real estate expertise, market knowledge, and eye for opportunity, while Tanisha contributes hands-on construction experience, renovation knowledge, and a passion for bringing beautiful spaces to life. Together—with the support and involvement of our children—we created T & Mai Homes.

At its heart, our company is about more than real estate. We are building a family-centered business where both of our families can grow, thrive, and create lasting generational wealth. Our vision is to expand our real estate investment portfolio and, in the future, serve homeowners through Tanisha’s general contracting business.

We’re also inviting people behind the scenes through our independently produced social media series, Mother Flippers. The show follows our renovation journey—the vision, hard work, unexpected hurdles, proud accomplishments, and plenty of real-life moments along the way. It’s an opportunity to showcase our skills while allowing the world to get to know the women, mothers, families, and purpose behind T & Mai Homes.
